Council Take the Wood Chippings!

Calm before the storm

The weather man is warning of 80mph gales sweeping in from the Atlantic but today was good. Clear skies, winter sunshine and not too cold although the temperature dropped in the afternoon and fell like a stone at sundown.

The council giveth and the council taketh away. They’ve come and taken most of the wood chippings away. Still, there is a bit left so I quickly took a few barrow loads to re-cover a path on plot 29

The next job was to do some serious digging over on plot 29. For the last few days I’ve been stuck on the computer for 14 hour days and my back and shoulders were stiff and aching. The brain was pretty much the same as well. Just digging over most of the largest bed on plot 29 has refreshed mind and body. Still got a bit of an ache in the shoulders but not a tension ache.

The council have dropped a small amount of leaves, so they’ll be getting dragged over to the bins next,

Fingers crossed I’ll still have two greenhouses tomorrow.
