Rotovating and Fertilising

More rotovation and a bit of fertilizing.

Grabbed a couple more hours today and rotovated the area for onions on Plot 29.

Big Bertha the Rotovator doesn’t sound too happy but chugged through it.

Then I spread some fish blood and bone on the area and used the Mantis to mix it in. Took the opportunity to spread some FBB on the growing autumn sown onions and garlic as they are a little yellow and look a bit hungry.

I suspect the wood shavings in the turkey litter, which was incorporated last year, suck up nitrogen as they break down.

Then used the Mantis on the patch on Plot 5 where the broad beans are going to break up the clods. Finally scattered some Fish Blood and Bone on that patch.
