Too Hot to Work on the Plot, Using the Sprinkler

Actually too hot!

The temperature soared and it was boiling so around to the plot about 4pm. Weeded the onions on plot 29 and then set up the sprinkler (new toy) to water same. They are pretty dry.

Checked the comfrey barrel – getting really good and smelly now with loads of little black flies.

Harvested some salad stuff, radish, spring onion, little gem lettuce and mixed leaves for tea then home by 6.30pm. 2 pints managed to quench my thirst!
