It was very warm, about 26 degrees, so the afternoon was spent sorting the garden shed. All those jumbled pots and trays neatly sorted and put away ready for next year.
Down to the plot around 5pm and proceeded to water. Plot 5’s comfrey and potatoes got a thorough soaking while the deep beds on plot 29 were hand watered from the new butt.
The broad beans are looking good, pods starting to thicken. The brassicas look OK but one shows signs possibly the root fly. Sprayed the rest of the plot (with water) and then moved onto plot 29. Soaked the potatoes and beans there.
Harvested the rest of the autumn planted onions – onto the rack to dry and so to home. Three and a half hours.
Tomorrow looks like a weeding day.
