Mantis Tiller and the Garlic Bed

Down to the Plot

So there we are, a beautiful sunny day and I’m thinking time for some serious fresh air. Then an old pal I’ve not seen for ages arrived and the hours whizzed by to 3.30pm. Then a ‘just answer a couple of emails’ session and at 5pm I finally get to the plot.

Mantis

For the first time this year the little Mantis came out and I gave it a run over the garlic bed at the top of plot 5. Amazing machine started second pull and away it went, if a little rough. I should have mothballed it for the winter but there you go.

Garlic

Having got the soil in some sort of order, I planted the rest of the garlic that was pushing its way out of the pots. Finally that job done.

So to home, a bit cross that I missed the bulk of the day. But it’s always good to see old friends,
