Beetroot and carrots combined with aromatic spices turn mundane vegetables into a real gourmet dish
Hi there sorry I do not know what mace is and the dictionary is not helping. What is it made of?
Mace is a culinary spice obtained from the dry covering of the nutmeg fruit seed. It is similar in flavour to nutmeg but not quite as sweet. Available from all good food shops/supermarkets.
This sounds interesting and delish, but am wondering what to serve it with?
I think it would be nice with a traditional roast pork dinner.

Hi, would you be able to make this up and freeze it do you think?
Sounds as though it could be good served with rice.
