Allotment Vegetable Growing in September 2004

Allotment Prize 01/09/2004 Well for some unknown reason, I haven't got any photographs of the allotments in September but I did get a little prize which means a lot. There's an annual competition open to all plotholders so despite having only had my plot for two years I thought I'd enter and see how it went, Well I got third prize, which I'm not complaining about. In fact and fairness there's quite a few established plots more deserving of a prize but the competition is only between those who enter, The moral is, even if you don't think you stand a chance, it can be worth entering. |
