Plot 29 The BeansA month after they were transplanted, the runner beans are starting up the poles and the French beans are popping up. Germination on the French beans was poor - I put this down to the weather. |
Plot 29 New Path and PotatoesI've laid a chipping path to the side and this forms a divide between my plot and the adjoining. In view of the mares tail, not a bad idea to have a buffer zone. The 2nd Early and Maincrop potatoes are doing well in the background |
Plot 5 in good heartYou can see the brassicas are doing well and the broad beans are up high. Between them you can see parsnips popping up. In the foreground are the courgettes and, yes, it needs weeding |
