Japanese Onions, Garlic and Leeks on Plot 29

In the foreground you can see my Japanese onions are doing well and although hard to see, the garlic has shown as well, The leeks to the rear are doing well, although a little rusted on the outside.

Up by the compost bins, you can see the ground has been turned over but the strawberry bed is in need of a good haircut and tidy up.

Wood chippings and leaves

Wood chippings and leaves

Big thanks to the chaps at the council, the unsung heroes that keep things tidy in our streets.

A large pile of wood chipping, great for bio-degradeable paths and to the right piles of swept leaves that we can turn into leafmould.

You can see the standing pools of water from the recent rains.
