Distinct from its purple sprouting broccoli counterparts, this green-sprouting calabrese matures swiftly, yielding crops by autumn rather than the typical late winter time-frame of most sprouting varieties. Continuous picking ensures ongoing production.

Unlike hybrid varieties that yield a sizeable central head, this particular type generates an abundance of individual spears continuously, commencing in July /  August and extending over an extended period.

Green Sprouting can be harvested about three times over three months. Once the main head has been harvested the plant will begin to produce smaller broccoli heads for 4-6 weeks. Sow in April / May
