About Allotment Garden and Growseed
Allotment Garden was founded by John Harrison who has been allotment gardening and growing his own vegetables, fruit and herbs for nearly 50 years now. John started this site as an online allotment growing diary back in 2004 to help others growing vegetables on an allotment. After a few years it became the most popular allotment site in the UK! Amazing!
Working with Growseed we are now offering well priced, reliable, quality Vegetable and Herb Seeds and Growing Equipment. Growseed was founded by Gerry Murphy in 2014 and has developed into a known brand name within the seed industry. They are more than just seed merchants – they spend their weekends growing, running variety trials and harvesting crops on their allotment.

Orders are processed via WebOneUK Ltd trading as Allotment Garden. Orders are fulfilled by Growseed – APHA (formally known as DEFRA) approved Licence No: 7536.

Orders are normally dispatched within 72 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) after receipt of full payment and are delivered with Royal Mail. During Special Offer periods, due to the volume of orders, orders will be dispatched within 3-5 working days.
You can track your order on the Royal Mail website using the tracking code which will be provided on request. Our postage costs include the cost of delivery and packing.
If you experience any problems with your order please email shop@allotment-garden.org. All orders are dispatched in protective packaging and should reach you in perfect condition. Should you receive your order in damaged condition, please contact us immediately on receipt. If possible, photographic evidence is helpful.
Returns Information
We want you to be delighted with your order so if for any reason you are unhappy with your items, you can return them in perfect condition and in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt for a full replacement or a full refund.
Return postage will only be refunded if the item is damaged, faulty, or if the wrong items have been sent. When returning undamaged ordered items a return carriage fee will be charged. We cannot accept responsibility for damaged or lost returned parcels, so it is advisable to obtain a postal receipt, or send the goods back via recorded delivery.
