Albina Ice is a genuinely white beetroot variety that maintains its color without bleeding when cut. Renowned for its sweeter and less earthy flavor compared to red beetroot, it offers a firmer texture, making it an excellent choice for children.
Additionally, the greens of Albina Ice are edible and offer a taste reminiscent of spinach when steamed or sautéed.
