A productive autumn broccoli, Calabrese Samson F1 initiates with a densely packed, dome-shaped main head and subsequently produces abundant side shoots post-harvest. The main heads can remain in the garden for an extended period without compromising quality (up to approximately 800g).
With excellent cold tolerance, Samson F1 proves to be an outstanding late-season variety. It is ideally sown in spring and not recommended for overwintering (i.e., September sowings).
Resistant to bolting, this broccoli remains steadfast in the garden until ready for harvest, minimizing the risk of premature bolting.
Sow March through June to harvest July through November.
