A traditionally styled wooden cold frame, this Large Overlap Cold Frame provides you with a large protected area of growing space. It's ideal if you haven't the space for a full size greenhouse - you can raise seedlings or grow salad crops etc. in a protected space, away from pest and weather damage.
Pressure Treated Timber For Long Life - made from sustainably sourced, FSC certified timber which has been pressure treated - so you'll not need to treat it yourself - and comes with a 15 year manufacturers guarantee against rot.
Two Independently Opening Lids - for easy access and good air circulation this cold frame has two hinged lids which can be opened independently. This means you can provide air circulation throughout the day and at night close up the cold frame to protect tender plants from the cold and late frosts. Wooden props are supplied to hold each lid open.
Maximum Light - for maximum light penetration the hinged lids are glazed with clear, safe and unbreakable acrylic.
