The Bumblebee Tree Lodge is designed to be mounted on trees and is ideal for public gardens or parks where pollination is needed to be improved
The Bumblebee Tree Lodge has a traditional design, made from FSC timber featuring an apex waterproof hinged roof for easy access and viewing. The lodge features 2 entry holes and also has a cover to prevent wax moths - natural predator of the bumblebee - from invading the hive. The bracket has been designed so that the lodge can be easily mounted on a tree trunk or suitable post to raise the lodge off the ground for safety and security, making it ideal for use in parks and public gardens.
The Bumblebee Tree Lodge can be bought with the Beepol Bumblebee Hive so that the hive can be set up straight away, or the Tree Lodge can be supplied with a voucher for the Bumblebee Hive which can then be despatched at a later date - the voucher option is ideal if buying as a gift.
