'Elista' is the brown variety of onion and has a stronger flavour. It is great for multiple homemade dishes but is especially delicious in french onion soup! If you cook your own winter casseroles, why not add these to the mix. Once ready, the bulbs can be?harvested in August and can last in storage until April/May the following year.
