Last night, just as it was getting dark I went out to make sure the hens were safely to bed. I noticed a snail making its way up the wall near to a flower trough. Then a pair of snails heading north up the wall from the ground.
Nothing unusual in that – snails are a problem here. I think it’s the dry stone walls giving them winter shelter combined with the dampness of Snowdonia that exacerbates the problem.
I had to pop something back into the potting shed on my way and noticed the path to it. Absolutely covered in the blighters! Nipped back in the house and grabbed the camera.
