Freezing Weather, Paraffin Heating the Greenhouse

Freezing Start

Apart from various work commitments, the weather has been keeping me off the plot. This morning was quite amazing, freezing fog which cleared slowly but still below zero at midday.

The greenhouse is being kept warm with the paraffin heater, if the weather doesn’t improve soon I’m going to have some very expensive plants as it costs about 80p a day when the heater is on full.

The photo of the garden at midday gives an idea of what it was like. Judging by some photos from Wales I got today, we can’t complain. They were of quite deep snow.
