Wet Soil Prevents Digging. Halloween Pumpkin Photographs

Happy New Year

This year I’m intending to try and concentrate more on quality than quality – so that”s my gardening resolution.

To the plot

I went down early afternoon and met up with Larry, the rep. We were the only people down there so very peaceful. The soil is pretty wet still on plot 5 so decided not to dig.

Loaded a few more barrow loads of leaves into the cage on plot 29 then started dismantling a deep bed on a plot that has been vacated.

The sides are almost like railway sleepers so they will make a good base for the new greenhouse. Larry has offered to help me move them tomorrow and I?ll start constructing the base soon. This will involve cutting the wood to the right length and suchlike. A firm foundation makes for a good house.

Halloween

Yes, I know it was a while ago but I?ve only just been given these photographs of how my big pumpkin got used, I must admit it has given me great pleasure to see what my little seeds turned into.
