Merry Tiller Problems and Propagating Comfrey

Mechanical problems and propogating comfrey.

Decided to run the Merry Tiller over the potato bed on plot 29. It started first time and all was going well until I realised the engine was running but the rotors were not turning.

Turns out a new belt is called for – fingers crossed I can find one somewhere.

So, onto plan B.. Took a spade through one of the comfrey plants and carefully put sections of root into pots in the coldframe.

If they all come up, I’ll have about 25 new plants. More in a few weeks on that.
