New Vegetable Growing Guides

There’s a major new section going onto the site now giving guides to growing vegetables.

First, I’m really happy to say our forum member mkhenry has allowed me to publish his handy hints from the forum. There are some fantastic tips in there that you’ll find really helpful on all sorts of things from stopping the birds getting your strawberries to a really clever way to stop lettuce from bolting.

The next updated section is the general growing information – things like seed storage and lifespan followed by individual vegetable growing guides.

I’ve got ten articles on growing potatoes and fourteen articles on growing tomatoes up. There will be more coming on the whole range of vegetables over the next couple of weeks.

If you have some method of growing a vegetable or a hint or tip why not contact me and let me know? I’m happy to publish information from other people on here. Organic or Chemical – I don’t mind. I’m a great believer in allowing people to choose what method is best for them.
