Twin Pack Gardeners Delight/Tangerine

Part of the James Wong Grow For Flavour Range. Gardeners Delight - No exotic, far-flung story behind this one: just genuine, old-fashioned flavour. This seemingly universally popular cherry tomato that everyone's granddad once grew is well known for kicking out loads of high-quality fruit on unfussy plants. Tangerine - A meaty slicing variety with a sweet, complex flavour. It contains an unusual form of lycopene, which some trials have suggested is more easily absorbed by the body. Flavour-wise it isn't too shabby either, with a sweet, exotic-fruit flavour and thick meaty texture that pairs incredibly with ham or gammon in sandwiches or on pizzas in the place of pineapple. Harvest July-October.

Yellow Currant

Solanum pimpernelifolium produces tiny fruits, hence the name. It's a different species from your common garden tomato and its hardly changed since it was found growing wild on a Peruvian beach in 1707. The plants are very disease resistant, and can tolerate cooler temperatures. Each tiny tomato is crisp, and has a really intense, sweet/tart flavour.
