Vegetable Seeds - Romanesco

Romanesco has aspects of both calabrese and cauliflower; it dates from 500 years ago in Italy and was originally called Romanesco broccoli. Sometimes it is also called broccoflower – but this name is used more widely to describe all green-coloured cauliflower varieties.

For advice on growing romanesco see our Grow Your Own Romanesco guide.

Cauliflower Seeds - Romanesco Early

A superb alternative to white cauliflower, with attractive florets in an unusual lime-green colour. The crisp, tasty heads measure 15-23cm (6-9") across, and mature in autumn from a May sowing. Once the main heas has been harvested, the plant will produce several smaller heads over the next few weeks. Summer/Autumn maturing.
