Lingonberry Bushes

Lingonberries will grow successfully in the UK. They’re native to Scandinavia where they’re almost a weed in some areas. Extremely hardy, as you’d expect. They’re similar in taste to cranberries but, I think, with more depth of flavour.

Lingonberries are very similar to cranberries and thrive in acid soil and semi-shade.

For advice on growing lingonberry bushes see our Grow Your Own Lingonberries guide.

Lingonberry : Ida

Dwarf 15-20cm (6-8 inch) evergreen plants that resemble box hedging, and can be clipped accordingly. The ideal patio container for the forgetful gardener as they are very drought, pest and disease resistant.
