Planning the Allotment

Finding time for the allotment is not always as easy as I’d wish when earning a living gets in the way. Still, time to plan for the new year

Nearly Christmas and I haven’t managed to set foot on the plot – apart from harvesting a few parsnips, carrots and leeks – I’ve not been down all month!

Work Gets in the Way

The first two weeks of December were not too bad on the weather front but I was totally tied up with work. This is the nasty stuff I have to do or go on a very drastic diet and live in a tent.

So, work eases off and down comes the rain. It’s always the way, isn’t it? Frustrating and bad for the waistline as well. One of the prime benefits of the lotty is that it expends more calories than sitting here clicking on a keyboard.

Anyway, the weatherman promises sunshine tomorrow.. although I don’t really trust him. We’ll see what actually happens.

Perhaps this is a good opportunity to do some planning for next year.
