Harvest Continues from Cucumbers to French Beans

Weed them and reap!

Sorry, I couldn’t resist the pun. My self and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark went down this afternoon. She picked French beans and I hoed plot 29 where the beans had come out.

4 more cucumbers, couple of courgettes, squashes, marrows, cabbages and a few tomatoes as well as a carrier bag full of beans later, back to the ranch.

Blanched the Beurre De Rocquencort yellow French beans for the freezer and the rest, along with some potatoes will be taken in a food parcel for my sister.

Repeat 10 times – we will try to grow what we need and not more!
