Salad Crops, Cauliflowers and Potatoes Harvesting

Harvest Continues

Dropped down to the plot to get a few more crops in. First of all some salad – just radish, spring onions and lettuce. Then potatoes – more of the Orla which show a fair amount of slug damage and then some salad Anya, which hardly showed any slug damage.

Yet more courgettes – the yellow ones look really dramatic – and then I noticed a climbing French bean. Hiding beneath the leaves were about half a carrier bag full!

Couple of cauliflowers were going over, so into the bag with them. 2 trips home with as much as I can carry and still had to leave a full carrier of potatoes and an extra large courgette at the plot.

The weeds are doing well – reckon a days work to get them back down awaits. Hope the prediction of rain comes true tomorrow – we need it.
