To me an expedition to the great outdoors involves a spade or a hoe. Many people, however, like to attach a caravan to their car, load up a canoe and dressed in warm clothing head for the wilds.
To be honest, not my idea of fun but it takes all sorts. My friend Chris Cooper is one of those adventurer types and probably only ever watches Ray Mears hunting and killing wild desert crocodiles (or is that alligators?) on the TV.
He’s opened an online shop – Busy Outdoors – as an addition to his excellent web site. I promised to give him a plug and this is it so he owes me a pint if I ever get north of that wall built by the Romans.
To celebrate the opening and get things off to a good start, he’s offering the Cadac BBQ range at low prices. I think these are the BBQ for the serious patio party animal rather than my 2 burnt sausages and an ash covered beefburger offerings.
Now I was talking to him about the allotment and mentioned that there was nothing better than a mug of tea straight from the shed so he came up with this: A Deluxe Portable Gas Cooker for £19.99 with 4 FREE gas refill cartridges.
Personally, I’m holding out for a free camping kettle but he’s playing hardball.
Anyway, take a look at his shop if you’re an outdoors person, he’s got a fantastic range of quality products from caravan movers to lifejackets – in case you move the caravan into the river, I suppose!
Thanks for the amusing link John – very good š
